G-TEC Manacaud the best computer training institute in Trivandrum celebrated the Pongal Festival on 14th January 2025 with our all staffs and students. It was a wonderful event with cultural programs and students performance. The centre director and staff members wished all a very happy and prosperous pongal to all.
Pongal is a traditional harvest festival celebrated in Tamil Nadu, India, usually in mid-January. It marks the end of the winter season and is dedicated to the Sun God. The festival is named after the dish “Pongal,” which is a sweet rice dish made from freshly harvested rice, milk, jaggery (or sugar), and flavored with cardamom, raisins, and nuts. Pongal is also celebrated as a thanksgiving ceremony for the year’s harvest, and it is a time for family gatherings, feasting, and cultural festivities.
